Admission to the Honors College is highly selective. We seek well-rounded, high-achieving students to join our community. If you think you have what it takes, we encourage you to apply.

Incoming First Year Student
Are you preparing to graduate from high school? Or have you recently earned your high school diploma or GED but are not enrolled in college? You are considered an incoming first year student.
You are considered a transfer student if you have completed 12 or more units of coursework at a community college or university since graduating high school.
If you are not a U.S. citizen or do not yet hold U.S. Permanent Resident status, you are considered an international student.

To give you an idea of our typical admissions profile for an incoming honors freshman, below are the averages for fall 2019:
- 3.89 unweighted core high school GPA
- 1423 SAT score (math and critical reading)
- 31.1 ACT composite score
- 9-12 Honors/AP/IB classes taken in high school
