Are you a student, staff or faculty member with a passion for the environment and commitment to keeping the UA as green as possible? Green Fund grants support sustainability-themed projects with the potential to make a real difference in the world. Anyone at the UA can apply for an annual Green Fund grant—faculty, staff or student. The Green Fund Committee is now accepting Mini-Grant proposal applications, turn yours in today!

Green Fund projects encourage collaborations across the university and in the communities beyond, with an emphasis on student engagement. Notably, grants are awarded by a committee of ten graduate and undergraduate students—so the decisions behind this $400,000 student-funded program are made by students. An additional $20,000 will be provided by the Agnese Nelms Haury Program in Environment and Social Justice to fund projects that touch on the sustainability and social justice nexus.

Everything you need to know about the Green Fund, from how to apply to a complete history of all Green Fund projects supported to date, is available at http://www.studentaffairs.arizona.edu/greenfund/. The committee will also start accepting Annual Grant Applications on November 1st, 2018.
