Your Four Years
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT OVER THE NEXT FOUR YEARS?
The Honors College is more than just academics – it’s an experience that propels you to new levels of success in college and for the rest of your life.
Your First Year Experience is a time of transition as you first arrive and adjust to college life. Through the Common Reading program, mentoring, academic and social events, as well as First Year Seminars, you will be introduced to life as an Honors Wildcat.
As you advance after your first year, you will dig further into your major and work with Honors College staff to craft the best possible extracurricular experiences that will take you toward your post-graduation goals – this could include everything from study abroad to internship opportunities. You will map out customized experiences based on your passions that will also help you stand out to future employers and graduate schools.
Beginning with the final semester in your junior year, you will look toward graduation and beyond, working on an Honors thesis or capstone and making post-graduate plans.
