This one-unit hybrid course will launch you into the kind of innovative, abstract and critical thinking you will do throughout your honors career.
Catalyst introduces you to academic disciplines, research and methodologies and interdisciplinary problem solving that is at the heart of the Honors College experience.
Each week, you will spend 50 minutes meeting in person and 3-4 hours engaged in an out-of-the-classroom experience hosted by partners across campus and in the Tucson community. After each in-person meeting, you will have several days to complete the week’s activity and submit an assignment.
During the final class meeting, student teams will present research projects as their final for the course.
