Rachel Cox

Academic Advisor

As an academic advisor, Rachel works with Honors students with last names beginning with N-R and X-Z. She enjoys helping creative, innovative, and passionate students navigate their time at the University of Arizona and beyond.

Rachel grew up in Tucson and graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA, where she studied communication, leadership, and theology. While in college, Rachel was involved with student government, university event planning, residence life leadership, institutional advancement, and a college radio program. All of these experiences created a passion for serving college students and creating spaces where they can find support, meaningful community, and opportunities for growth. Rachel earned her Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Baylor University in Waco, TX, and she is excited to be back in her hometown to work with students in the W.A. Franke Honors College.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys exploring coffee shops and bookstores, painting, listening to music, and spending time with her family. She is incredibly excited to support and connect with Honors students throughout their time at UArizona.
